So what

Today is the first day of Spring. Yahoo! April showers can't be far behind. And if April showers are coming, May and June deluges can't be far behind. And if May and June deluges are coming. July and August suck-sprinkles will be quick on their heals. And if July and August suck-sprinkles are on their heals, September shoot-me-now torrents will be next.

Aw. Summers in the 206. Nothing like 'em. No, really. There is nothing like a summer in the NW—One day of sunshine followed by six days of gray skies (in August). Nothing like it.

Reminds Arnica of his favorite weather joke: What do you call the sunny day that follows two rainy days? Monday in Seattle.

Or better: What do you call one sunny week followed by 3 months of drizzle? Can't tell you, too busy fashioning the noose knot.

Hi Matt,

This is Jocelyn- Susies's Sister. She has a link to your blog from her's. Just wanted to send a quick note to say how much I enjoy your blog! You consistently crack me up! More often than not, I'm at work so it definitely helps to have humor in the day! I REALLY loved this entry. You nailed it!

Hope to see you guys in August when Jeff, Susie and Family come to town. We'll have to have some grub and cocktails on the deck! Take care and keep writing!! Jocelyn
